I am always late to the game. I barely created an avatar for myself last year, while others have had it for an eternity. I didn't attempt to use GIFs or share memes or things like that because I didn't know how it worked. I needed a tutorial and more than likely that tutorial came from 1 of my children. True story. So this morning I saw on my Facebook feed that everyone was changing their profile pictures to these cool portrait, painting looking pictures and there I go to investigate!
Finally, something I can teach you how to do in case you haven't jumped on the trend already! So for starters, find this app in your app store newprofilepic.com. The photo above is what it should look like. Of course, as goes with some apps you will have to allow access to your photos on your phone and once you do that you are on your way!
You can either choose to use your profile picture to turn into a portrait or one from your camera roll. I happened to choose my Facebook profile picture which is this one.
And OMG voila! The finished product!
No that is not a Monet, or a Picasso, it's Lil ol me with this cool new app! So while I thought I was going to have fun and try to find several photos of myself in my camera roll that I liked and have choices, that will not be happening today. Apparently all of Midland Odessa is trying it out and the app has crashed. lol
