Look, I'm not usually one to toot my own horn but TOOT TOOT BABY! Can I say I feel partly responsible, and instrumental in making this happen? Back in March, I wrote an article about this super cool place I visited in Denver, CO with my family called Meow Wolf. I cannot think of enough adjectives to describe it. Eclectic, strange, weird, psychedelic, unlike anything I had ever been to before in what I would call a 'museum.' There are currently only 3 locations in the US, Denver, Las Vegas, and Santa Fe, NM. 

Meow Wolf Convergence Station is what it is officially called and if you visit their website, this is how they describe it:

This 4-story immersive art exhibition is home to 70+ unique installations, rooms, and portals. Together, they tell an unforgettable, cathartic tale of converged worlds.

So I said all of that to say this, Meow Wolf is headed to Texas yall! To 2 different cities! LIke, did I manifest this? As soon as I visited the one in Denver, I thought dang I wish we had one of these back home because I know several people who would love it and whom I would like to experience it with.

In 2023, Meow Wolf will open up at Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, TX, followed by Houston's Fifth Ward not long after.

According to the Meow Wolf website, their mission:

IS TO INSPIRE CREATIVITY THROUGH ART, EXPLORATION, AND PLAY SO THAT IMAGINATION WILL TRANSFORM THE WORLD.

I am telling you right now with a name like Meow Wolf I did not know what to expect and for how large the location was that I went to, I expected a blase museum like I've been to many times before. But this 'convergence station' is anything but blase and you just have to understand that you must expect the unexpected.

I would absolutely love to visit the Las Vegas and Santa Fe locations at some point and without a doubt the TEXAS locations when they drop next year.

To say my family and I loved this place would be the ultimate understatement. So much to do and see, I can easily say it took us over 2 hours to experience and my kids had the time of their lives. I don't even mind sharing some of my personal family photos with you so you will have an idea of what to expect and just how cool it is that Texas will soon be home to Meow Wolf's 4th and 5th locations.
