Improv at the Yucca is Tonight in Midland!
Tonight marks yet another performance of "Improv at the Yucca." It's improv that happens at the Yucca.
We've been doing this show for nearly 15 years now, and we're still going strong. For the uninitiated, think of the TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyway." Get the picture? We have six performers who have no idea what characters, situations, or games they will be a part of tonight. It's 90 straight minutes of pure, spur-of-the-moment, off-the-top-of-our-collective-and-individual-head comedy.
Not only that, our bar opens at 7:00 tonight, one full hour before the show starts (for those who have a hard time with math, that means that our show starts at 8:00). So, you have a full hour to spend your hard-earned money on a little bit of liquid laughter before taking your seat. Don't overdo it. We have police officers there, and they don't like drunks. We don't either, because if you're passed out on the table, you aren't laughing. And improv without laughter is like ice cream without ketchup. Respectable, but not as interesting.
