If ESPN Mock Draft is Correct, Dallas Cowboys Fans Would Be Ecstatic
Every year NFL and College Football analyst Mel Kiper Jr releases his Mock Draft as we get closer to the NFL Draft which is still a few months away, taking place April 27th though the 29th in Kansas City, Missouri. Dallas Cowboys fans are still getting over the loss to the San Francisco 49ers but also looking forward to putting together a more competitive team next season. If the new Mock Draft that was released by Mel Kiper Jr is correct Dallas Cowboys fans and most people in Texas would be very happy.
Obviously, a mock draft is just for fun and let’s be honest the Dallas Cowboys don’t exactly need another running back as much as they need help at other positions, but this specific mock draft had Texas RB Bijan Robinson joining the Cowboys. There is no doubt about it, Bijan Robinson was one of the most electrifying runners in college football this past season, any team would improve adding him to the roster.
Most Dallas Cowboys Fans Were Skeptical of the Mock Draft
After the mock draft was posted online many Dallas Cowboys fans were laughing, most believed that there was no chance that the Texas Longhorns running back would still be on the board when they make the 26th selection in the first round of the draft. Although it would be fun to see him in the Cowboys huddle next season.
Dallas Cowboys Have Other Needs Than a Running Back
The Cowboys have an amazing running back in Tony Pollard, plus Ezekiel Elliott wants to return to the team too. It would make sense for the Cowboys to go after a Defensive Back, Wide Receiver or Offensive Lineman. But if you can add a player like Bijan Robinson to your team it would be difficult to turn that down.
What would you like to see the Dallas Cowboys do with their pick in the 1st round of the NFL Draft?
