‘High-Heeled Hijacker’ in Handcuffs Thanks to FBI in Houston, Texas
While the name ‘High-Heeled Hijacker’ might sound funny, the crimes that were committed were anything but hilarious to the victims. According to ABC 13, the FBI in Houston, Texas has made an arrest in the case. Lisa Marie Coleman was arrested on three counts of robbery by threat and kidnapping for multiple crimes committed between November 15th and December 23rd, 2022.
The first crime that took place on November 15th involved the alleged suspect approaching her victim in a parking garage and demanding money. At that time, she was holding her hand in her pocket like a firearm which obviously made the victim very nervous for their own life. The suspect got $100 in cash but also made the victim drive to several ATMs to get more money from her account. The good news is that no one was hurt while the crime was committed.
Also Known As the Smelly RobberThe suspect is also allegedly the same person who robbed several other businesses while leaving behind a foul-smelling odor. The FBI even released a video of the suspect taken at a hotel which she robbed after handing a note to the front desk clerk demanding cash from the register.
Not Sure the Reason Behind the Crime Spree
At this point law enforcement hasn’t released any reason on why the suspect might have been committing these crimes, but we do know that the suspect is behind bars. Coleman has a bond currently at more than $375,000. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
