Statewide Ban on Texting and Driving Passes the Texas House
A statewide ban on texting and driving is one step closer to becoming law.
According to YourBasin.com, members of the House voted 113-32 to approve a statewide ban on texting and driving.
The bill still has to go through a final vote in the House and then will be passed on for a vote in the Senate.
Texas is one of four states that currently do not have a statewide ban on texting while driving.
