Splish-Splash! Three Indoor Waterparks In Texas To Enjoy With The Family This Labor Day!
We are about 3 and a half weeks away from the 3-day Labor Day holiday. Certainly not too early to think about where you may be headed for a much-needed break and a chance to get out of dodge! If you plan to take the entire family for a long weekend getaway, I do not think you will be disappointed with my suggestions.
How about an indoor waterpark? Here in Texas, we have some good ones! And you can stay at 2 of the 3 of my suggestions, so essentially, you have an opportunity to eat, sleep, swim, repeat, all in one fabulous location.
INDOOR WATERPARKS IN TEXAS:
Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark
I have taken my children to this indoor waterpark a few times, and I have to say it is well worth it! From the water dump zone, the crooked creek, river canyon run inside the raft with several other people, and Fort Mackenzie, a four-story fort treehouse in the water, the whole family will no doubt have a blast. You can stay at this resort and hotel or just get a day pass to swim and enjoy the waterpark for the day. Great Wolf Lodge is located in Grapevine, TX. For more info, click here.
Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark-
I have not been to Epic Waters because when we did try to go, we missed the opening by a week. Talk about bummed, so we have to try it soon but check out the water slides in this place! Fun, fun, fun! Epic Waters is located in Grand Prairie, TX. For more information or to find out how much it would be to take your family, click here.
Kalahari Resorts Texas is located in Round Rock, TX. This particular indoor water park we visit often! I cannot say enough good about it. Great restaurants inside, an arcade, bowling alley, rides, bars, the hotel rooms are very nice and clean, and the indoor water park will wear your kids out! lol, It is huge, with a wave pool, lazy river, water slides, and an 'adult grotto' for mom and dad to hang out while the kids have a blast.
