This Texas Train Ride Takes You Up Close to The Sharks!

Let's get on the train and head to the sharks. Yep, that's what happens when you get on this train in Houston, Texas! This is pretty cool and is one of the features at one of the coolest Aquariums we have here in Texas!

• THE SHARK VOYAGE AT DOWNTOWN AQUARIUM IN HOUSTON!

The Shark Voyage at the Downtown Aquarium in Houston is the 'shark' feature that allows you to take the train into the Shark exhibit tunnel and actually be surrounded by Sharks! The train is named the C.P. Huntington Train and takes a ride through the center of a 200,000-gallon shark tank for a crazy up-close view of a variety of different sharks!

• THE 'SHARK' TUNNEL IS 70 FEET LONG!

Once the train hits the tunnel, that's when you get the shark experience. The tunnel itself put you surrounded by Sea Water for an up-close encounter with the sharks! The 'shark' tunnel is 70 feet long! The tunnel actually supports 70 tons of water over the heads of guests on the train!

• DIFFERENT KINDS OF SHARKS IN THE TUNNEL!

When the train stops in the 'shark' tunnel, you can see different types of sharks including the Sand Tiger Sharks, Nurse Sharks, and Brown Sharks!

THE TRAIN RIDE ALSO RUNS AROUND THE AQUARIUM LOT!

The train takes you around the 7 ACRES of land that the Downtown Aquarium in Houston is on! It showcases the 'carnival' type rides available at the park!
