‘Safe 2 Save’ App Coming to Midland to Help Prevent Texting and Driving

A new app which gives you  points and savings for not texting and driving is ready to launch in Midland.

According to NewsWest 9, "Safe 2 Save" app is an incentive based app that gives rewards from local businesses in Midland to prevent texting and driving.

Safe 2 Save began in College Station in October and has expanded to five other cities and has over 1,800 users.

The following businesses are already on board for giving out rewards for people who quit texting and driving in Midland:

• Murray's Deli
• "Note"able
• Trio
• Brew St. Bakery
• Steak Forty-Two
• Mac's BBQ

More businesses are getting on board soon and the app is planning to be in Odessa soon.
