Wouldn't it be nice to be able to pass an 18 wheeler with the confidence to know exactly what lies in front of it? With this new initiative from Samsung, you can do just that!

Most fatalities involving 18 wheelers and other cars happen when trying to overtake and pass, when they aren't sure what is beyond the truck. Samsung has solved that problem with a camera mounted to the front of the truck connected wirelessly to a large screen in back, which allows drivers behind to see what is beyond.

This initiative was created by Leo Burnett / Buenos Aires for Samsung's Argentinian corporate office to promote road safety.

The first application was for the small country of Argentina, where they have hundreds of one lane roads. It is a country where one person dies in a traffic accident every hour.

Wouldn't this be great to have here in West Texas?
