What's Up In The Sky for December 2014

Yesterday, Nasa published a video detailing some of the celestial events that will be taking place during the month of December.

I'm one of those amateur star-watchers and with our cool, clear evenings, this month's viewing should be better than average. NASA said that there are two meteor showers we can watch:

The December Geminids and Ursids offer up two more chances to see meteor showers this year. Plus, there are two comets to look for through telescopes. - NASA
