When the sun went down last night, if you looked up, you saw an interesting sight in the night sky. It wasn't a star next to the Moon, it was a planet.

The Waxing full moon is having a close pass by the planet Jupiter. These type of passes are common with the moon and the other planets since they are almost on the same elliptic from our vantage point. You can see it again tonight, or early before the sun comes up tomorrow morning.
