Weatherman Predicting Wind Nearly Gets Blown Away
This forecast was right on the money.
An Irish weatherman had a great sense of humor when a gust of wind took him off his feet during his report on Ireland AM on Friday.
Deric Hartigan, a weatherman for Ireland's TV3 Ireland, was doing a live report last Friday and told viewers to expect wind.
"It's wet and it's pretty windy out there and that's the picture we're painting right across the weekend," he said.
Sure enough, only a few seconds later the wind kicked in and knocked him back a few steps out of frame, sending the anchors, tucked away in the warmth of their studio, into a fit of laughter.
Give Hartigan credit for continuing to smile. We don't think he predicted he'd go viral, but he sure seems like he's rolling with the punches pretty well.
