The Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center will be 10 years old this fall and will have a free concert celebrating that milestone.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the concert will be on November 1, 2021 and local talent Current Nine will be performing along with a night of giveaways and a look back at the past 10 years of the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center.

Current Nine is a cover band that performs covers of such artists as Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, George Strait, Taylor Swift, and many others.

The members of Current Nine are professional musicians from all over the Permian Basin.

The concert will be at 7pm on November 1, 2021 and even though tickets are free, you must reserve in advance of the concert date at the box office or online at the Wagner Noel website.

The Wagner Noel PAC will continue the 10 year celebration until October 2022 with concerts, monthly celebrations, 10 year giveaways each month to newsletter subscribers, a traveling mini-exhibit that will be at various places around Midland and Odessa, and an exhibit at University of Texas Permian Basin from November 2021 to October 2022.

There will also be commemorative items you can purchase at Bird Box (Formerly Spirit Creations) and Vintage Deluxe in Odessa.

They will have a 10th anniversary chocolate bar courtesy of Susie's South Forty, T-shirts, posters, coffee mugs, and stickers all designed locally by Kristen Eads Covington.

The traveling exhibit will be at Basin PBS in October and the Museum of the Southwest in January 2022.
