Unveiling The Truth: Are Dating Apps Still Effective For Finding Love?

Everyone is looking for love, and as the song goes, in wrong places like dating apps. Dating apps are hot, then they are not and there are so many to choose from, at least 45 which include; Match, Hinge, OkCupid and Tinder.

Recently dating app companies like Bumble and Match Match have learned that, like love, their business is a battlefield (another song reference for you). Investors are heartbroken as stocks continue to fall. One main reason is Gen X are just not using them which has caused both companies CEO's to resign.

As the industries see more and more people deleting their apps what is the future on dating apps?  First off lets show them some love, many folks have found love on dating apps, I personally have a friend who now is living happily ever after with her Boo that she found on Bumble so they do work but so does actually getting out and mingling.

The dating app companies stand by their apps and spend lots of money advertising them especially on social media.  But that's part of the problem, money, some of these apps charge a pretty penny for your chance to find love. Besides money its the are they really who they say they are?  Photoshopped photos, fake profile details etc. have caused users to be a bit skeptical.

Though dating apps may be struggling, experts believe in a world where you want instant gratification, the apps are here to stay.
