University Blvd Widening Project in Odessa Ready to Enter Phase One

Making driving better and safer between Grandview and Andrews Hwy is what the widening project for University Blvd is all about.

According to YourBasin.com, the project will take a total of two years to complete and phase one will take the next six months.

Phase one is the clearing of the new right of way by moving fences, fire hydrants, trees and utilities.

After that is completed then the construction phase can begin which will add a left turn lane and sidewalks on both sides of University Blvd.

Summer of 2020 is the scheduled completion of the project.
