Today, I Am Thankful For Our Veterans – November 11th

Today is Veterans Day. Over the last few weeks I've been sharing things that I am thankful for, so today I recognize our veterans, without which we would not be enjoying the freedoms we have today.

Many take for granted that we have a day set aside to honor our veterans. I try to make every day Veterans Day. If I know, meet or see someone who is a veteran, I take the time to thank them for their service.

I know that it may make some of them uncomfortable, they aren't looking for recognition. I make it a point to notice veterans or active military when I'm traveling. It's not uncommon for me to stop and thank someone in uniform or a person who is clearly military and thank them.
