Tinashe Recruits Future for Glitchy New Single, ‘Faded Love’
The slow march toward Tinashe's Nightride follow-up is finally ramping up.
After unveiling the Offset-assisted "No Drama" last month, the singer has returned with "Faded Love," a glitchy, Stargate-produced entry featuring Future, who she collaborated with for Aquarius's "How Many Times" back in 2014. It's the second track to come from her long-delayed LP, Joyride, due out in April.
The album was initially slated for a 2016 release, but hit a snag due to what Tinashe has called "creative differences." Instead, she put out Nightride, a half-mixtape, half-album to tide over eager fans—a decision Tinashe now says was for the best. "This is the best incarnation of [Joyride] yet,” she teased during a recent interview with W Magazine.
Still to come is "Me So Bad,” which will feature Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana, as well as a team-up with an undisclosed female vocalist on the full record. "It's a surprise," Tinashe told W.
