  • Huy Fong has had another bad season for peppers
  • Stores are holding their space
  • The last shortage was in 2022
  • I found an alternative I liked

We get fired up about many things in Texas, but without sriracha we can't get very heated. It is a bland world for Huy Fong Sriracha fans as another shortage has left store shelves vacant of the popular condiment.

Luckily there hasn't been a Cholula hot sauce shortage, or we might all starve. Look at some other foods that might be in short supply in 2023.

13 Food Shortages Expected in 2023

As if the egg debacle of late isn't bad enough, experts are predicting even more food shortages and sky-high pricing as supply is about to catch up with inflation. Both weather and war are to blame for most items, and it's hard to estimate what the outcome will be.
