According to KXAN, around the time of 2 PM, first responders were alerted to an individual suffering from reported traumatic injuries. The Airport also released a statement about the situation:

"The incident occurred outside of the terminal where aircraft park at their gates. ATCEMS pronounced the employee deceased."
