Love or hate the final seasons of LOST, there’s little denying the mythology got a bit … abstract toward the end, between light-filled island corks and temples. That said, producers now reveal that the final episodes were meant to introduce an island volcano that tied things together, but got too costly to depict onscreen.

We’re no where near the middle of outrage from proposed congressional budget cuts, the most visible of which would eliminate funding for staples like the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Well, this is certainly unexpected. Marvel’s Inhumans has bounced around theatrical release dates enough that many wondered if Marvel might make the film at all, and now the project appears to have undergone TV-genesis. Yes, Marvel’s The Inhumans is now an ABC TV series premiering in fall 2017, debuting its first two episodes in IMAX theaters!

The success of Preacher certainly opened TV doors for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, most recently with the Hulu order of Josh Hutcherson series Future Man. Now, Rogen and Goldberg are at it again two-fold, eyeing a sidekick inversion for a new FOX superhero series, and an Illuminati spoof for ABC.
