Sul Ross State University Amphitheater Named in Memory of Zuzu Verk

Zuzu Verk was honored yesterday as the new amphitheater at Sul Ross State University is named in her memory.

According to NewsWest 9, the amphitheater is a part of an outdoor classroom as well and now bears the name Zuzu Renee Verk Memorial Amphitheater.

The family of Zuzu was at the ceremony and said they can feel a special connection to the amphitheater and Zuzu.

Zuzu Verk's remains were found earlier this year after she had been missing for many months.
