During the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radio Cares Conference, there is a portion set aside for the surprise guest speaker. This year the featured speaker was Capt. Sully Sullenberger, the pilot of the 'Miracle on the Hudson'.

The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radio Cares Conference gives radio stations tools to help them implement their Radiothons. At some point during the conference, there is a surprise motivational speaker and this year it was truly a treat to hear Capt. Sully Sullenberger; the pilot who saved over a hundred lives by piloting his stricken airliner into the Hudson River.

In the video, Justin and I discussed the amazing discipline and training it took to pilot that damage aircraft and land it in a river, saving all souls on board. Capt. Sully is also a supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Make plans now to join us and become a 'Partner in Hope' for our St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Radio Cares Radiothon, March 5th and 6th!
