Prince was a musical genius. And, even though we have seen pics of Michael Jackson as a boy, of course with the Jackson 5 and such, have we never really seen pictures of Prince as a little boy? Now, that I think of it, NO, not really. We all remember a young PRINCE breaking into the music industry way back in the day, but recently a TV station unearthed an ICONIC gem.

WCCO, a tv station in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the birthplace of PRINCE, recently was looking for some old footage to do a story about schools there when someone who was going through the old footage found a boy who looked a lot like the one and only PRINCE!

And yes, it is him!

TEACHERS WERE PICKETING AND ON STRIKE!

The year was 1970 and in April, the teachers went on strike in Minneapolis. And, the one and only PRINCE was interviewed and STOOD with the teachers! How cool is that? You can definitely see his mannerisms that he would still have as an adult later as a SUPERSTAR!

BEFORE AN ICON AND SUPERSTAR WAS ABOUT TO BECOME

What PRINCE did for music is beyond words, one of a kind. Did this kid at the age of 11 even know what was to come? Maybe, there was a glimmer of it in him that he only knew.   I'm sure PRINCE fans are happy to see their SUPERSTAR before he changed music forever. And, how cool is it that his neighborhood friends and young bandmates were featured.
