A student from Permian High School is doing her part to help out by making masks for frontline workers in the community.

According to NewsWest 9, Denali Cardenas says, "I have a very strong passion of helping others," and with that passion she is making masks.

She has made over 70 masks for her family, aq nursing home in the community, and her dad and his co-workers.

"He needed protection, so that was the first person I made a mask for. It was my dad so he could do his work," Cardenas said.
