Permian Basin Cyclists Come Together For Bike Corridor
Permian Basin cyclists are coming together to make a bike corridor between Midland and Odessa a reality.
According to NewsWest 9, The Permian Basin Bicycle Association is working together with the Permian Basin Metropolitan Planning Organization to make to corridor happen.
The MPO approved a corridor study a few months ago and estimated the study would cost about $42,000.
The MPO is working in several phases and the cyclist community is hoping to raise funds from private citizens and groups to get the funds together.
The PBBA also met with three firms on May 9, 2018 to determine which one will move them forward with the study.
