PB & J Hotdog is a Hit With Daring Palates at Rockhounds Games

Baseball season is just around the corner, in fact, it begins for the Rockhounds this coming Tuesday, April 12 and they are offering something that has become somewhat of a fan favorite.

According to NewsWest 9, the peanut butter and jelly hotdog was created by fans and has become one of the items you have to try next time you go to a Rockhounds game.

I know, it sounds horrible, but the concept has actually been around in Texas for more than 10 years but it has been posted about since 2012.

If you love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, the consensus is that you will also love the PB&J Hotdog as well. The sweetness of the jelly is kind of the replacement for the sweet relish on a hot dog, but the peanut butter I can't see being a replacement for the mustard.

Pictures I have seen do not make it look horrible, a little different yes, but not horrible.

For those who like to be adventurous, this is the food for you to try and see what you think.

Comfort food is what some call the peanut butter and jelly sandwich so why not combine your comfort foods especially if hot dogs are also a comfort food for you.

Anyway, that being said, I am always up for something different and will give it a try the next time I am at a Rockhounds game. If you are daring enough, I urge you to also give it a try and see what you think also.
