If you forgot to get your lottery ticket for the Mega Millions jackpot, you are in luck, no one won so now the estimated prize is up to $502 Million.

According to NewsWest 9, with no winner for the jackpot on Wednesday, now the Mega Millions jackpot is going to be the fourth largest reward in the game's history.

That means the amount is expected to be $502 million for Friday's drawing with a $301 million payout which will be the biggest prize amount since 2016.

That year in Indiana, a single winning ticket won a $536 million prize.

In 2012 a Mega Millions jackpot of $656 million was the biggest for the game and remained the biggest until 2016 when it was eclipsed by a Powerball prize.

To win it all, for those of you thinking about trying it out for the first time, players must pick the correct six numbers from two separate pools. That is five different numbers from 1-70, and a sixth number from 1-25.

Mega Millions in played in 44 states as well as Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
