New Petition Now Circulating to KEEP the Name of Robert E. Lee High School

I told you yesterday about a petition going around online to change the name of Robert E. Lee High School, now there is one to keep the name as it is.

According to YourBasin.com, just a day after a former student started a petition online to change the name of Lee High School in Midland, now someone has started a petition online to keep the name as it is.

M.I.S.D. officials would not comment but referred to the statement they put out yesterday stating they would concentrate on the education of Midland students and not on a name change of the high school.
