My Colossal Weekend at the Pro Football Hall of Fame
To know me is to know that I love pro football, the NFL has been a part of my life since birth.
So with that said, this past weekend was the weekend of a lifetime where I got to go see my first enshrinement of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
I originally got the HOF Experience package in February 2020 when I found out Jimmy Johnson and Cliff Harris were going to be in the Centennial Class of 2020 enshrinement.
But COVID hit big later that month and by June the Enshrinement Weekend was postponed, but they offered to honor the tickets for 2021, provided they could have it then, or I could get a full refund.
Well since I had already paid for it, I chose to keep the tickets until they could have the Centennial Class of 2020 Enshrinement.
Earlier this year they also offered the Class of 2021 Enshrinement which would happen the day after the Centennial Enshrinement, so I figured I would be there anyway, lets see that one too and plus Drew Pearson was getting inducted to the Hall of Fame in that class.
So a weekend of football and seeing three people that I am a big fan of from the Dallas Cowboys get inducted into the hall of fame was something I was really looking forward to.
Well the weekend did not disappoint, it was 4 days of fun including the tailgate party before the Hall of Fame game featuring Dallas and Pittsburgh, the two fan parties before each enshrinement and both enshrinement ceremonies.
For this football fan it was 4 days of bliss and some cool souvenirs to come home with to show my Cowboys pride.
