If you have lived in Midland most of your life like I have, you know that city water is awful.

According to NewsWest 9, with that being said, MISD is set to approve over $1.5 million for R.O. water systems in all Midland schools.

"Let's take care of it now while we can and let's plan ahead to take care of the secondary schools as well," said Elana Ladd, MISD Chief Communications Officer.

MISD started installing R.O. systems in some elementary schools back in 2012, but the $1.5 million will cover all the rest of the schools including the secondary schools in Midland.

This will help kids pick water over sugary drinks if the water does not taste like Midland water always has.
