Midland Will Have a Challenger to Go Against Current Mayor Jerry Morales

A Midland business woman will be throwing her hat into the ring for mayor.

According to NewsWest 9, Becky's Flowers owner Jenny Cudd has made her announcement that she will be the sole candidate running against Mayor Jerry Morales.

Mayor Jerry Morales is breaking the trend of the past three mayors (Bobby Burns, Mike Canon, and Wes Perry) and not stepping down after his second term.

Cudd made her announcement at Brew St. Bakery Tuesday night (June 4, 2019).

Cudd gave her view of the state of the city as well as her vision for the future of Midland.

The Midland mayoral election will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
