The treatment will be offered to patients who at at high risk and test positive.

According to NewsWest 9, the antibody treatment called Bamlanivimab was administered to a couple of staff members who fit the criteria.

Treatments are given through IV infusions.

Medical Center Hospital in Odessa say they have a plan to do the infusions as well.

Odessa Regional Medical Center has yet to receive the antibody treatment and are not sure that they will receive it.

This comes as healthcare providers in the Basin prepare for a post-Thanksgiving day spike in cases.
