Midland Goodwill Planning Second Location On Loop 250

Midland's Goodwill located on Illinois and Midland Dr. is planning a second location on Loop 250.

According to the Midland Reporter-Telegram, the new location has just been approved by the Midland Planning & Zoning Commission to go into the old Chelsea Rae's Interiors location next to Haverty's on Loop 250.

Goodwill Industries has been moving their locations out of low income areas of towns they are in to more upper income areas.

Officials with the Midland Goodwill say that they are receiving more donations than the location on Illinois can accommodate so they need the second location.

The Midland Goodwill says they employ 27 people but will double the number of employees with the second location.
