When you think of Kolaches, what do you imagine? I think of pigs-in-a-blanket type pastry with some kind of meat in the middle, and it turns out I'm wrong.

Kolaches are actually a fruit filled pastry introduced to Texas by Czech immigrants. Since there introduction in Texas, they have been modified and twisted into something else through the years.
