It’s National Coffee Day, Here’s How to Get Free Coffee!

A couple if donut chains and some other stores are giving out free coffee for National Coffee Day today, but Starbucks is NOT one of them.

That's right, the chain you would expect to give away free coffee is Instead launching a yearlong program where they'll plant a tree for every bag of coffee they sell at their stores, which is nice but doesn't help you get free coffee so here are a couple chains that ARE giving away coffee:

You can get a free small coffee and a glazed donut at Krispy Kreme if you mention their promotion, participating Dunkin' Donuts will give you a free medium or iced coffee if you ask for it.

Whole Foods stores are selling 12-ounce cups of coffee for 25 cents. Staples is running a promotion where you can win a Keurig and a bunch of other stuff if you tweet a photo of your favorite coffee mug with the hashtag OfficeMugShot

And McDonald's is mostly ignoring National Coffee Day this year.  A few locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts are giving out small cups, but it's not clear if they're doing it anywhere else.
