The Hotel Settles has been named as one of the South's best historic hotels.

According to NewsWest 9, Southern Living Magazine made a list of the best historic hotels in the South in its latest issue, and the Hotel Settles in Big Spring was on that list.

Southern Living chose buildings that had kept their charm throughout the years.

They praised the hotel for the spacious rooms, the original drug store (which is now the hotel's restaurant and bar), and the West Texas comfort food.
