The City of Midland is hosting a "progressive playground party" from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. all over the city! The promoted playgrounds are as follows:
Butler Park
Pioneer Park
Sparks Park
Grafa Park
House Park
And Ulmer Park

On Tuesday, March 5, the City of Midland Animal Services Division will be hosting a shot clinic at the Midland Animal Shelter at 1200 N Fairgrounds Rd. For $20 pet owners can get a rabies shot, microchip, and a city/county license. For an additional $10, dog owners can get a Distemper/Parvo shot as well. The clinic will start at 4:00 PM and all dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in a cat carrier. All payments must be in cash and for more information please call 432-685-7420.

The Chamber's State of Education luncheon is designed to facilitate a meaningful conversation and to inform the business community about pressing issues faced by today's educators.
This year's luncheon features: Mayor Mike Cornett of Oklahoma City and the discussion will be moderated by Dr. Steve Thomas, President of Midland College and Chairman of the Midland Chamber's Board of Directors. Tickets are $30 for members and $45 for non-members and will take place on Wednesday, March 27th at the Midland Country Club 6101 N. HWY. 349. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m.
