Harvey Gains Strength in the Gulf of Mexico and Threatens the Texas Coast
People all along the shores of Texas are gearing up for Harvey that has reorganized and is back to a tropical storm and threatening the Texas coast.
According to NewsWest 9, Harvey is expected to make landfall around Corpus Christi sometime late Friday or early Saturday but hurricane warnings are posted from Brownsville to Galveston.
Over 20 inches of rain is expected with the storm which is predicted to stall once it hits landfall which will cause the deluge of rain along the Texas coast.
Emergency officials are prepared and already practicing helicopter rescues to aid those caught by the floods.
