Odessa High School has a lot to celebrate after last night's Super Bowl.

According to CBS 7, in the past eight years Marcus Cannon has represented OHS in the Super Bowl five times, and last night he became a three-time Super Bowl champion when the New England Patriots outlasted the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII.

"Never thought I would have made it to my fifth Super Bowl, and I'm thankful for everything," said Cannon.

Marcus began playing for OHS once his family relocated to Odessa from Roswell, New Mexico but he had been playing football all his life before and after then.

The NFL sent gold footballs to every school that has produced a Super Bowl player before Super Bowl 50 to celebrate it's golden anniversary and one of those footballs is proudly displayed at Odessa High School for all students to see.

With three Super Bowl rings, Cannon has won the most Super Bowls of anyone that has played high school football in the Permian Basin.
