If you listen to Fifth Harmony's brand new self-titled album, which dropped today (August 25), you'll get a clear sense that Normani, Lauren, Ally and Dinah Jane are headed in a decidedly different direction. Still, movin' on from "Miss Movin' On" has them totally excited for the future.

As part of a takeover of Pandora's Pop 2017 station today, Dinah Jane and Ally talked all things Fifth Harmony, and said they knew "Down" signaled a cooler, more grown-up new chapter — Gucci Mane's feature was icing on the cake.

"It was so awesome to be able to work with Gucci Mane on our single," Ally said. "I remember our A&R Chris Anokute, told us that he was going to be on our record and we all freaked out. He is so talented and he is one of the nicest human beings ever. He has the brightest, sweetest smile and he is just so kind. He made this whole process easy."

And the new LP's second single, "He Like That," includes some similarly satisfying collaboration.

"We love this record. Ester Dean actually wrote this song," Ally noted. "She is such a genius and we were so excited when we found out that she wrote this song...We love it. It has that reggae kind of throwback vibe type of feeling."

And if that's your jam, Dinah Jane said you can expect much more.

"We're definitely stepping into the more cool, vibey tones and it just definitely shows maturity that has definitely kicked in in each and every one of us," she noted. "And yeah, what was so amazing about this album is that we were able to co-write most of these songs; more than half of our album."

In essence, Fifth Harmony is 5H's proof of growth and progression.

"Since beginning this journey, one of the things that I would have told myself would be to not be afraid to stand up for yourself, just to do it in a respectful way because it is so important to be able to feel like my voice is being heard," Ally said. "And it is so important to make your voice heard and your opinions heard and to be able to express yourself in a healthy and positive way."
