Demi Lovato Helps Her Friend Stage Marriage Proposal During Concert (WATCH)
Demi Lovato did the sweetest thing for her friends this week, and the moment just might reduce you to tears.
The "You Don't Do It for Me Anymore" chanteuse paused her concert to bring her friend and American Idol alum Rayvon Owe onstage during her tour stop at The Forum in Inglewood, California, this Friday (March 2).
To his astonishment, the 25-year-old singer also brought out Owen's longtime-partner, LGBT rights advocate and filmmaker Shane Bitney Crone, another of Lovato's closest pals, who made a surprise appearance through a trapdoor.
Taking a bended knee, Crone clasped Owen's hand and declared his love with a marriage proposal. Owen said yes, and as the crowd cheered in celebration Lovato rushed to embrace them both.
A video capturing the proposal was recorded and shared on Twitter by fans who were there to bear witness to the heart-warming engagement.
"Yay!" Lovato could be heard screaming in the clip as the married-couple-to-be beamed on in excitement before embracing each other with a kiss.
"What some of you don't know is that these are two of my really close friends and I've gotten to watch Shane go through so much and come out on the other side...such a strong person who's now found the love of his life," the Camp Rock alum said tearfully.
"I'm so happy guys...I'm so f--king happy."
To memorialize the moment, the former Disney star sang "Yes," a tune from her 2015 fifth studio album, Confident, as a moving montage of Owen and Crone's relationship played on the production screen.
Hours later, the newly-engaged couple took to Twitter to express their love and gratitude for Lovato and those who helped make the momentous event possible.
