City of Odessa Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday brought out a record number of participants this year.

According to NewsWest 9, the City of Odessa Easter Egg hunt usually brings out about 1,000-2,000 participants but on Saturday morning a record number of over 3,000 came out for the annual egg hunt.

The egg hunt was separated into groups and covered an area about the size of four soccer fields.

It is estimated that over 30,000 eggs were distributed for the annual egg hunt.
