City of Odessa Announces All Pools Will Remain Closed For Summer 2020

The City of Odessa has announced that all pools and aquatic centers in the city will remain closed for the 2020 summer season.

According to NewsWest 9, this includes all aquatic centers, spray grounds and pools run by the city.

Current social distancing measures cannot be practiced very effectively in a pool or spray ground scenario.

Officials with the city said the decision was done with safety of the public in mind.
