Chick-fil-A Helping Out Local Police With ‘Support Mor Badges’
Chick-fil-A in Midland and Odessa is teaming up to help support local law enforcement by holding the "Support Mor Badges" event.
According to NewsWest 9, we all love Chick-fil-A and this weekend you can be helping out local law enforcement while enjoying a great chicken sandwich or the awesome chicken nuggets.
The "Support Mor Badges" event will be going on this weekend at the Chick-fil-A locations at Andrews Hwy and Loop 250 in Midland and 42nd and Grandview or the new location on Faudree Rd. in Odessa.
Local officers will be at those locations selling "Bustin' For Badges" raffle tickets from 8am-2pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Steve LeSueur, Public Information Officer for the Odessa Police stated it is a chance to meet the officers and see them as just regular citizens.
“You know, at the end of the day we're all on the same team,” LeSueur said. “We really are. You know, a lot of times people come into contact with us under negative circumstances. Whether it's a traffic stop or a car accident, or some other call for service where someone is at a low point during their life. But this is a chance to see us in a different light. It's a fun time for us.”
Some of the great items up for grabs in the raffle include a charcoal grill, a rifle, and a Polaris Ranger 500 ATV.
So go get your regular Chick-fil-A this Saturday as usual but make sure you stop by the Andrews Hwy and Loop 250 location if you are in Midland, and in Odessa at the brand new Chick-fil-A on Faudree or the location at 42nd and Grandview.
