The City of Midland has some great activities that you and the kids can enjoy in the month of June!

Here are some of the events you can find out about in the City of Midland's June 'Monthly Shorts'.

The Washington Aquatic Center opens May 30 and the newly renovated Doug Russell Aquatic Center has its grand opening on June 6! Make plans to spend the summer at the city pools; admission is only $3 per person. For a list of closures and more go to midlandtexas.gov/swim.

The City of Midland has recently updated watering restrictions. The city is now allowing residents to water any time on their respective watering days, rather than the previous 6 hour allotment in the evenings. The designated watering days for even numbered addresses are Wednesdays and Saturdays. The designated watering days for odd numbered addresses are Tuesdays and Fridays. Residents are encouraged to water either in the morning or evening to avoid evaporation during the heat of the day.
