The light finally arrived this weekend.

Ariana Grande broke free with a dance-filled extended preview of her new song "The Light Is Coming" for the first time at Wango Tango 2018 last night (June 2). Featuring lyrics from Queen star Nicki Minaj, who sets off the track with some searing words for her difficult darling before tagging in the pop star for the hook, the sweet and sassy bop is a mid tempo melody made perfect for the club.

Ahead of its live premiere performance, Grande announced "The Light Is Coming" will officially drop as a single on June 20, which also happens to be the pre-order date for her long-awaited fourth studio album, Sweetener, which drops this August, the 24-year-old announced to the crowd.

"What does she say?/ What did he say?/ You don't listen 'cause you know everything," the chanteuse croons in the Pharrell-produced song, which seems to hint at an obvious miscommunication between two lovers.

Grande first teased Arianators with a taste of the jam last week when she shared a snippet of her and Minaj's verses on social media. The song marks the fourth time Ari and the "Chun-Li" rapper have collaborated, following "Bang Bang," "Side to Side" and "Get on Your Knees."

In addition to "No Tears Left to Cry" and "The Light Is Coming," Sweetener will reportedly feature another track called "God Is a Woman."
