Animal Cruelty Case Garnering Attention and Offers to Help

An act of animal cruelty offers residents a chance to help this young pup recover.

It's one of those things that makes you shake your head and wonder what is wrong with people. A young pit bull is recovering after being thrown from a moving car down a highway. "The poor dog was suffering in pain. When I seen her, she wasn't able to walk because of the amount of pain that she was in,” Odessa Resident, Eleanor Roe, said.The Odessa woman who stepped in to help take care of her says she's can't imagine why anyone would do such a cruel thing.

Unfortunately, incidents like this are on the rise but we have a chance to make a difference by helping this young pup recover. The pup, which Eleanor named 'Angel 191' was taken to Angel's Vet Clinic in Odessa. Medical expenses will cost between $1,500 to $2,000.
