If you are in the market for a used car in the near future, experts let you know what to look for so you do not buy a car that has been in the recent flooding caused by hurricanes.

According to NewsWest 9, some less than honest used car sellers will be looking to get rid of cars that were involved in the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey.

 

The one good way to check out a potential car to make sure it has not been damaged in a flood is to get the VIN and go to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles website and see if it has been in a flood.
