Have you ever tried to eat or drink blindfolded? Completely in the dark? It is much harder than what you would think.  Vision impaired individuals live with that everyday. That is why the Recording Library is so very important. The Recording Library provides services to the visually impaired such as audio to those that are blind, low-vision and more.  These individuals receive FREE services if they qualify. They also provide services for folks who suffer from Dyslexia and Parkinson's that prevent individuals to hold materials because of low-vision due to age and more. A few of the services they offer are;
Audio books
Low Vision and Blind Resources
A 24 hour Radio station with programs just for vision impaired
College Text Books
Assisting with job applications
Religious Material
Reading of your personal items, example mail
Senior material and more
Low Vision and Blind Events
They are always adding resources and will personalize your services with the help of their volunteers.
The Recording Library has been providing audio in West Texas and the surrounding area since 1963.  They are a non profit and could not provide these services with out volunteers and donations.
